Australian Bureau of Statistics Data API

Australian Bureau of Statistics · CPI monthly (~last Wednesday of the following month) plus a quarterly index; national accounts quarterly (~9 weeks after quarter end); labour force monthly; WPI quarterly. The ABS revises seasonally adjusted and trend history routinely and periodically re-references its indexes (the 2025 CPI re-reference is why two CPI datasets exist).

Any data item in this source's 1,227 indexed datasets can be requested by its source-native series id (GET /api/starwell/v1/sources/abs-data-api/series/<id>); the first request fetches it live from the official source, serves it with provenance, and keeps it.
